Inspiration
Inspired by Pokok Pertiwi and the lush Nusantara archipelago, the design reflects Indonesia’s deep connection to land and nature. The expansive green net canopy symbolises the mother tree, representing shelter, unity and growth, while organic forms and verdant tones express national identity and a sense of belonging within the school community.

DESIGN
A dramatic overhead net canopy creates vertical dimension and immersive play while ensuring safety and supervision. Soft net systems encourage confident movement at height, complemented by balancing platforms and rope pathways that foster coordination and cooperative play, all anchored by a sculptural central structure that reinforces the tree-inspired narrative and spatial cohesion.

Featured play areas

Tree Climbing Core
The sculptural net tower forms the heart of the playground, inspired by the trunk and roots of a great tree. Children climb within a protected vertical chamber that builds confidence, spatial awareness and strength while maintaining full visual supervision.

Elevated Canopy Net
A sweeping overhead net creates an immersive forest canopy experience. This soft suspended surface encourages exploration at height in a safe environment, promoting balance, coordination and a sense of adventure.

Balancing Hammock
Suspended hammock connected by tensioned ropes challenge stability and core strength. Designed for dynamic movement, this zone encourages careful footwork, agility and collaborative play as children navigate together.

Stepping Stilts
Vertical timber-inspired stilts of varying heights create a rhythmic pathway that develops balance, lower body strength and coordination. Arranged like a stylised forest grove, this feature invites children to step, pause and progress confidently through controlled movement.
