Play Curl offers a unique play space designed for children, blending transparency and privacy. It integrates vertical play, nature exploration, and active experiences. Kids access this curl-shaped area through ground-level entry, utilizing hanging climbing features, fostering an engaging and adventurous environment.

Design & Inspiration
The play structure is thoughtfully designed to embrace and harmonize with nature. It meanders gracefully around trees, allowing children the freedom to explore and engage with the natural environment. This design creates a seamless blend of play and the great outdoors, encouraging a genuine connection with nature.
Inspiration
The concept for the play curl draws inspiration from enchanting natural occurrences, like the interplay of sunlight through foliage, casting shadows and patches of light on the forest floor. The play curl's surface replicates the intricate vein patterns of leaves, allowing children to relive this mesmerizing facet of nature as they frolic within the structure.
Proposed play elements
The play curl comprises three interconnected towers linked by two bridges. It's adorned with a multitude of engaging elements like climbing nets, crawl spaces, and balance challenges, strategically scattered throughout. With a range of routes catering to various skill levels, the play curl offers an exciting and challenging experience for a diverse group of children.
Design mood
As children step into the play curl, they discover themselves nestled amidst the trees. Here, they can freely explore the transparent environment, basking in the enchanting wonders of nature. Despite their immersive play experience, the children remain visible from the outside, ensuring their safety.

Fabrication
Prioritizing safety is of utmost importance. We engage independent safety auditors during the engineering phase to meticulously review and validate all safety measures, guaranteeing a thorough assessment by a third-party inspector prior to commencing factory production
The process

Fabrication
Square hollow sections of 50-140mm in width are used to create the silhouette of the curl and provide support for it to hover above the walking path. Metal sheets which went through a special perforation method are used to form the semi-transparent patterned skin around the curl.

Inspection
Safety inspections were conducted during installation to ensure the product quality were met.

Installation
Progress photos was sent by Kinetics to keep the client abreast of the production. Dry Fit was carried out at site to ensure that the parts fit perfectly.

Finished product
Every play tower offers ground-level access and provides a minimum of two distinct climbing paths leading to the bridges. Children can opt for either a 'challenging' or 'simple' ascent based on their climbing abilities. With all three towers interconnected, kids enjoy unhindered movement across them, encountering diverse play options and challenges along their journey.
Play curl
As the gentle curves of the structure wind gracefully among the trees, it offers an opportunity to connect with the enchantment and natural beauty, all within the semi-transparent confines of the play curl.

Featured play
Bridges
Connecting the three towers, these two bridges feature sturdy rope net foundations, allowing children the freedom to move between the towers with ease.
Climbing wall
Scattered across the play curl's surface, climbing cleats offer a challenging route for children seeking a more demanding climbing experience.
Monkey swing
Beneath the net platform, children can grasp these ropes to get through the curl, providing an opportunity for them to utilize a distinct set of motor skills.
Balancing coconut rope
Dangling beneath the structure, the coconut rope offers an entertaining challenge for children to assess and improve their balancing abilities while they carefully traverse the sturdy cord.
