Overview

This thematic playground at Mount Vernon transforms play into a flowing, nature-inspired adventure. Drawing inspiration from waterfalls, ponds and shoreline landscapes, the playground invites children to move, climb and explore through a continuous journey of play. Sculptural water wheels, rocky terrain and gentle slopes create a dynamic and immersive environment that encourages discovery, balance and imaginative engagement.

Inspiration

The design draws from the fluidity and movement of water. Water streams, cascading forms, and playful waterfalls guide children through the playground, encouraging active exploration and interaction. Complementing these natural references, sculptural play wheels and climbing elements add an imaginative, whimsical touch that stimulates creativity and curiosity.

Fabrication

Meticulous calculations were employed in crafting the main post, prioritizing stability to uphold the integrity of the structure.

Inspection

Safety and quality inspections were carried out during fabrication process to verify that product quality standards were met.

Installation

Kinetics sent visual updates to the client to maintain transparency on the progress of production. On-site dry fitting procedures were meticulously executed to guarantee exact part alignment and seamless integration.

DESIGN

The completed landscape features water-inspired play elements, rocky climbing zones and soft hills arranged to promote movement, social play and clear sightlines. Each zone is carefully designed to integrate safety surfacing and seating areas while maintaining a visually cohesive, flowing play environment.
