Overview

Inspired by soaring avian creatures, the playground captures the essence of flying birds’ beauty. It features elevated play zones and replicates the nests of aerial birds. The concept draws from the majesty of airborne species, crafting a distinctive area that reflects their world, while providing children with captivating play experiences.

Inspiration

Birds represent freedom, movement and a sense of adventure, much like the way children naturally explore their surroundings. By observing their flight patterns and the way they build nests, the design captures the playful spirit of birds and translates it into a unique play environment that sparks curiosity and movement from a high-up perspective.

Design

Flying Birds is centered around three large, colourful nest-like pods raised above the ground, designed to let children climb, explore and pretend to fly. These pods are connected by suspended mesh walkways and tunnels, encouraging adventurous exploration. Bright yellow rails curve around the structure, echoing the motion of wings in flight, while the winding tube slides add a sense of excitement. Every element, from the organic shapes to the airy colour palette, is thoughtfully crafted to give children the uplifting feeling of soaring through the sky.
