Blending movement, nature, and thoughtful design, the Play Curl brings a refreshing play experience to the grounds of Dulwich College. This elevated structure offers students a light-filled, secure space to climb, explore, and interact with their surroundings in a playful yet purposeful way. Inspired by the calming beauty of forest light filtering through leaves, Play Curl encourages imaginative discovery while supporting the school’s focus on holistic growth nurturing both body and mind through outdoor play.

Play Elements

The play curl consists of three towers which are connected via two bridges. Numerous play elements such as climbing nets, climbing, crawling and balancing components are thoughtfully placed across the curl. There are many different routes for children to take, each with different difficulty levels such that a large variety of children will find the play curl challenging and fun.

Bridges

These two bridges with a armed rope net base connect the three towers, enabling the children to travel freely across to different towers.
