Overview
The Curvilinear Double Nest is a sculptural playground that seamlessly integrates movement, elevation, and rest into a unified play experience. Composed of two flowing towers connected by tubular pathways and net structures, it creates a continuous loop of exploration where children can climb, slide, and unwind. The design transforms conventional playgrounds into immersive environments that balance active play with moments of calm.

Inspiration
The concept is inspired by the rooting in organic forms such as woven nests, flowing vines, and natural canopies, the design reflects a sense of fluidity and discovery. Its curving geometry guides children intuitively through the space, removing rigid boundaries and encouraging free exploration. The integration of hammock-like elements draws from nature’s balance of energy and rest, creating an environment where play and pause coexist naturally.

Design
The design emphasizes connectivity, contrast, and layered interaction. Elevated connections between the towers promote continuous movement, while dynamic elements like slides and climbing nets are complemented by restful features such as the giant hammock and triangular swing hammocks. With its soft, curvilinear form language and multi-level play opportunities, the structure supports diverse play styles while encouraging physical activity, social engagement, and imaginative exploration.
